We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Sales – MICE to join Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort, the much anticipated 1 billion USD project, opening in late 2024. Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort is a part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka’s largest Hotel owner with a portfolio of 15 Hotels and Resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. It is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed conglomerates in Sri Lanka.

As the Manager, Sales – MICE you will report to the Director, Sales, MICE, and orchestrate extraordinary events that transform business gatherings into unforgettable stories. In this role, you will proactively seek out and oversee opportunities related to Group/Catering accounts, capitalizing on their substantial revenue potential.

You will target MICE accounts with heavy emphasis on proactive sales calls to existing and potential clients, whilst upselling each business opportunity to maximize revenue. As the Manager, Sales – MICE, you will be expected to understand the overall market competitors’ strengths, weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand, and how to sell against them. In your role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including event planning, operations, and culinary to ensure the seamless execution of events, aligned with our clients’ visions. Furthermore, you will be expected to cultivate and nurture strong relationships with corporate clients, understanding their specific event requirements, and tailoring solutions that align with their goals. You will also ensure that the business is turned over efficiently and in a timely manner in order to promote customer loyalty by providing service excellence throughout each guest experience.
