The Role

As a Senior Datacom Engineer, you would be working collaboratively on Datacom engineering operations for Huawei. This will be an interesting role for you if you would like to expand into new horizons as this role will include key responsibilities such as:

• consulting, designing, and deploying IP Core / IPRAN / ISP / IDC network projects along with operations and maintenance
• providing technical support to customer and first-level engineers by on-site or on-call
• troubleshooting IP network problems quickly and helping to provide sound engineering solutions by maintaining a deep knowledge of IP networks and with up-to-date detailed configurations abilities
• conducting high-quality and comprehensive Lab tests to prove the viability of proposed engineering solutions

This role would match your profile;

• If you possess a professional background in Telecommunications with a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications/Electronics/ Networking. Having Huawei / Cisco Certified qualifications or partly CCIE certified is preferred
• If you have hands-on technical exposure with a minimum of 3 plus years experience in a large-scale IP network and have a natural passion for the subject.
• having a thorough understanding of TCP/IP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, TE, L2/L3 VPN, and best practices as well as processes and related best practices. Familiarity with Huawei products will be added advantage
• being a motivated individual who would achieve shared goals and results by sincerely providing a helping hand to others
• being a result-oriented team player who has the ability to create a work environment that sparks focused approaches to drive company growth
