We’re looking for a skilled social media specialist who is passionate about promoting and protecting one of the world’s most recognisable financial institutions.The Social Media team, part of the Digital Transformation function, is responsible for paid social media campaigns, organic publishing and monitoring, and social strategy and governance. The Senior Specialist, Social Media will join a global team of social publishers who manage organic social media at LSEG.This role will help to build, manage and support LSEG’s official social media presence, working closely with colleagues across Corporate Affairs and Marketing (CAM) and the wider business. Aligned to EMEA business hours, this role will provide outstanding social publishing, community management and reporting expertise aligned to LSEG’s social media strategy.TASKS YOU WILL PERFORM
- Schedule, publish and monitor organic content across social media channels (e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.), using both native platforms and third-party tools as part of a 24-hour content cycle (EMEA hours)
- Understand the brand’s social media governance and how it relates to community management, including response processes
- Support social media employee advocacy, including managing appropriate tools
- Use social media listening and analysis to inform campaigns and reputation management
- Evolve organic social media best practice and update employee guides
- Set KPIs and relevant social media metrics for organic social
- Understand social media, marketing and communications fundamentals, including how social media tactics connect to marketing strategy and commercial objectives
- Contribute to the overall success of the Social Media team through individual effort, peer collaboration and supporting the Manager, Social Publishing and wider Social Media leadership team
- Proactive approach to professional learning and development for career growth
- Identify areas of opportunity within the team, processes and operations
- Support and contribute to LSEG’s social media governance framework
What Do You Need To Bring
- Professional, confident communicator who is used to working with multiple stakeholders/in a regulated, fast-paced social media environment
- Experience working with large, complex organisations with multiple brands/sub-brands
- Experience within the B2B, financial sector or regulated industries is preferred
- Comfortable working within a global team spread across multiple time zones
