We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager/ Recruiter to join our new Talent Acquisition team in Sri Lanka. This is an exciting time to join our growing business and help to manage our recruitment within Sri Lanka. We are backed by one of the largest Insurance Managers in the world with the friendly culture of a smaller firm.

The role will report directly to the Talent Acquisition Partner (in the UK) be responsible for delivering a proactive recruiting service to Artex, by managing key recruitment activities through the full life cycle of the hiring process.


  • Proactively identify and source talent through traditional and non-traditional sourcing channels, while building and maintaining robust active and passive candidate pipelines

· Conduct initial screening of resumes and applications to shortlist qualified candidates

  • Provide complete, accurate and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position

· Schedule and coordinate interviews, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the process

  • Write adverts and manage applications
  • Build strong relationships and good rapport with prospective candidates
  • Prepare candidates for interviewing by providing detailed information on the company, department, and the role, and expectation-setting
  • Put in place strategies and initiatives to ensure touch points in the hiring process deliver an exceptional experience and all candidates irrespective of outcome are kept up informed throughout the process
  • Drive Data Integrity and usage of our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with all activities related to candidate dispositions, interview progress, and offer
  • Positively engage and promote Inclusion and Diversity (I&D) through the recruitment process and be an advocate and champion of our I&D strategy, coaching stakeholders to understand, interpret and engage with this where appropriate
  • Be engaged in creating a Talent Acquisition environment that looks at quality improvement and helps implement best practices
  • Carry out duties following internal policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulation, good governance and Gallagher’s shared values, in particular putting clients at the heart of our business and ensure the part of the business for which you are accountable for demonstrably complies with those policies


Skills and Experience

  • 5 years of experience with full-cycle recruiting gained in an agency, RPO or an in house environment
  • Direct Sourcing skills and experience through a number of attraction channels
  • Experienced in sourcing talent across variety of business functions and levels
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels and excellent interpersonal skills to interact with and advise clients, senior management, and vendors
  • Able to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Strategic and tactical in approach to hiring
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Eligibility Requirements

  • Eligible to work in Sri Lanka
  • Ability to travel as required
