The Opportunity:

As part of our team, you’ll be responsible for completing important tax tasks. Your primary focus will be to collaborate and provide support in handling the tax activities for Intrepid.Building strong relationships with both external and internal customers and employees is crucial in this role. You’ll work closely with management to ensure efficient and effective outcomes. As a Tax Executive, some of your key responsibilities will include tax-effect accounting, handling GST/VAT, Fringe benefits tax, maintaining the transfer pricing model, and processing journals.This is a full-time permanent position, operating out of our office in Colombo. To provide the best experience, this role would operate mostly out of our office with some work-from-home days.

• Graduate in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification (CA/CIMA/ACCA)
• 3+ years of experience in a Finance role with 2 years’ experience in Tax.
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office products mandatory
• Part/Full qualification at Sri Lanka Tax Institute or School of Taxation – CA Sri Lanka would be an added advantage.

You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and adjust messages accordingly to a variety of audiences. You’ll have the ability to set deadlines & work autonomously. Most importantly you’ll align to Intrepid’s core values of integrity, innovation, fun, passion, growth and responsibility.
