Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing mission-critical enterprise applications, with significant experience in test case design, execution, and reporting. As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our healthcare solutions, working closely with our development team to deliver superior products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Case Design and Execution:
- Design and execute comprehensive test cases for complex enterprise applications.
- Develop detailed test plans and strategies to ensure thorough testing coverage.
- Execute manual and automated tests to identify and document defects.
- Test Reporting:
- Prepare detailed test reports, documenting test results, defects, and overall product quality.
- Communicate findings to development teams and collaborate on defect resolution.
- Track and report on the status of testing activities, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Types of Testing:
- Perform various types of testing, including unit, integration, system, functional, user acceptance, regression, and usability testing.
- Ensure that all aspects of the application are tested to meet high standards of quality and reliability.
- Software Quality Assurance:
- Apply advanced Software Quality Assurance concepts, techniques, and methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with established QA processes and standards.
- Continuously improve QA practices and strategies to enhance product quality.
- Test Automation:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
- Identify opportunities to expand and improve test automation.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with development teams to understand application functionality and requirements.
- Participate in design and code reviews to provide QA insights and feedback.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure alignment and clarity.
- Problem Solving and Decision Making:
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of defects and propose effective solutions.
- Make informed decisions regarding testing priorities, risk assessment, and defect management.
- Team Collaboration:
- Foster a collaborative and cooperative work environment, building strong relationships with diverse team members.
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Pre-Requisites:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in testing mission-critical enterprise applications.
- Test Case Design: Significant experience in test case design, execution, and test reporting for complex enterprise applications.
- Types of Testing: Proficiency in various types of testing, including unit, integration, system, functional, user acceptance, regression, and usability testing.
- Quality Assurance Concepts: Deep understanding of advanced Software Quality Assurance concepts, techniques, test methodologies, deliverables, processes, and strategies.
- Test Automation: Understanding and experience in test automation and test planning.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A proactive initiator.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as a team player, building constructive and cooperative work relationships with diverse audiences.
- Education: A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
