Role Description:
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Wealth Planner at AIA Sri Lanka located in Colombo. The Wealth Planner will be responsible for providing financial planning and investment management services to clients. The day-to-day tasks include creating and implementing personalized financial plans, managing investment portfolios, and providing expert advice on insurance products and finance. This position allows for flexibility with remote work options.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning:
- Develop and implement personalized financial plans tailored to the specific needs and goals of clients.
- Conduct comprehensive financial assessments to understand clients’ financial status, goals, and risk tolerance.
- Provide expert advice on retirement planning, educational savings, and other financial goals.
- Investment Management:
- Manage and monitor clients’ investment portfolios to ensure alignment with their financial objectives.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews and provide clients with updates on performance and market conditions.
- Recommend investment strategies and products based on clients’ financial goals and risk tolerance.
- Insurance and Risk Management:
- Provide expert advice on a wide range of insurance products, including life, health, and disability insurance.
- Assess clients’ insurance needs and recommend suitable insurance plans to protect their financial future.
- Stay updated on the latest insurance products and market trends to provide clients with the best options.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their queries and concerns promptly.
- Conduct regular meetings with clients to review their financial plans and make necessary adjustments.
- Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and business growth.
- Participate in networking events and seminars to promote AIA Sri Lanka’s services.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure all financial planning and investment activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and financial plans.
- Prepare regular reports on financial planning activities and client portfolio performance.
Qualifications:
- Financial Planning and Investment Management:
- Strong knowledge of financial planning principles, investment management, and insurance products.
- Experience in creating and implementing personalized financial plans.
- Industry Experience:
- Previous experience in the insurance industry is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with the regulatory environment and compliance requirements in Sri Lanka.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain complex financial concepts to clients.
- Self-Motivation and Technical Skills:
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in using financial planning software and tools.
- Education:
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or similar are advantageous.
