Job Purpose:
The Country Manager (SAP) will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations in Sri Lanka. This includes managing profit and loss, ensuring statutory compliance, handling HR management, and meeting ISO and other compliance requirements. The role also involves growing the team, managing logistics, delivering projects, and procuring necessary materials and services. The ideal candidate will have extensive IT experience, particularly in SAP, and possess strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Profit and Loss Management:
- Oversee the financial performance of the Sri Lankan entity.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve financial targets and improve profitability.
- Monitor financial reports and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Statutory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable local laws and regulations.
- Stay updated with changes in legislation and implement necessary adjustments.
- Liaise with legal and regulatory bodies as required.
- Human Resource Management:
- Oversee HR functions, including recruitment, training, and performance management of team members in Sri Lanka.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Address and resolve HR-related issues and conflicts.
- Compliance and Audits:
- Ensure adherence to ISO9001, ISO27001, and other compliance requirements.
- Prepare for and manage audit processes, addressing any findings promptly.
- Implement and maintain best practices in quality management and information security.
- Team Growth and Development:
- Identify and recruit top talent to join the team in Sri Lanka.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

- Logistics Management:
- Oversee the management of office logistics and facilities.
- Ensure a safe, efficient, and conducive work environment.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers as needed.
- Project Delivery:
- Assume overall responsibility for the delivery of assigned projects.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or obstacles promptly.
- Procurement:
- Manage the procurement of materials and services required for operations.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers.
- Ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.
Experience and Skills:
- IT Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in the IT industry, with a strong preference for SAP experience.
- SAP Projects: Experience in 2-3 SAP implementation/support projects in roles such as Architect, Project Manager, Consultant, or Business Analyst.
- Troubleshooting and Analysis: Excellent troubleshooting, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- SAP Modules Knowledge: Good overall knowledge of various SAP modules and their interlinkages, particularly SAP PM/CS.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certifications: SAP certifications or other relevant professional qualifications.
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams and projects.
- Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
