Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructure. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our organization’s networking environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
2. Evaluate and recommend network technologies and solutions to enhance performance, scalability, and security.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements.
5. Monitor network performance and security, proactively identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities or bottlenecks.
6. Configure and maintain network security policies and protocols to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
7. Provide technical guidance and support to junior members of the networking team.
8. Document network configurations, procedures, and best practices.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. 5 to 8 years of proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
3. In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and technologies including TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and DNS.
4. Hands-on experience with network hardware and software such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and Fortinet.
5. Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex network issues and implement effective solutions.
7. Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent.
2. Experience with cloud networking technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
3. Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) and network virtualization technologies.
4. Experience working in a multicultural environment.
